This beautiful Colt Single Action Army holster, like all our items, is crafted entirely by hand.
TRADITIONAL HARNESS LEATHER FROM WICKETT AND CRAIG
Using an exclusive blend of waxes, oils and tallows, hot stuff these leathers to bring out their inherent beauty. Through a traditional process called jack glazing, oils are brought to the surface to create a glossy finish that never mask the leather’s natural grain.
It is saddle stitched by hand, with a strong waxed thread, so you should never have to worry about the stitching coming out.
The edges are beveled, slicked, and coated with Edge Kote for a nice look and to protect them from fraying.
It is dyed with a beautiful professional oil dye, and finished with a mixture of Neatsfoot oil and 100% natural beeswax, making the leather somewhat water resistant.
