Trade knives were carried by frontiersman along the early American frontier for skinning game, camp chores, trading with native tribes, or cooking.
This wonderful and traditional knife will serve you well, whether in the wilderness or in the kitchen.
Each knife is made-to-order for each customer. No two knives or sheaths will be exactly the same. You will truly have a unique item, made just for you!
When you order, Scott, at Wandering The Wilderness in North Carolina, will begin hand forging your knife. Once the knife is complete, it is sent here to our leather workshop in Alabama. I handcraft the leather sheath to fit the knife, then I ship it to you.
Expect about a month processing time, but this may be much shorter or a little longer, depending on the volume of orders at the time.
